I grew up in Lancashire within a tight knit community. My siblings and I literally hung out with our cousins. We were all so close and as the eldest cousin I didn't realise how many memories the younger kids had of me.
So when my cousin told me he was getting married, I could not resist the idea of shooting his wedding. It had been years since we had all seen each other. With me living in London in for years since their formative years I was eager to spend time with the family.
I had a blast. This was more like a reunion where I happened to shoot. Every singe person was someone I knew well. The aunts regaled stories of my childhood.
I have realised over the years that there is nothing more important tha family. There are moments that will stay with you forever. This is one of those moments. This was a journey I am so happy I made.
I wish my cousin Guffran and his beautiful wife an eternity of happiness.
