I met Sana at a wedding fair where I was showing my work. It was a little nerve wracking for me as it was the first time I was really putting myself out there. At the event I met some incredible couples and one of those couple was the most beautiful Sana and her hilarious counterpart Khurram. I was drawn to them immediately. I was so taken with this amazing young woman's bubbly personality. So when she booked me I was thrilled.
For me a bride's personality and the couples love of photography play a huge part in the final decision to work together. The wedding day is one of the most important days in a couples journey and for me - I want to ensure that I give the couple the best images possible.
They told me all about their fairytale event in Cardiff followed by a second event in Port Talbot. I was ready to drive down immediately and shoot this young woman on one of the most important days of her life. I knew one thing she would look spectacular.
The Rucksati was incredibly emotional and beautiful.
The bharaat arrived in style with a female drummer who led the way for the grooms family to greet the bride. I loved the fun and frolics. I couldn’t wait for khurram to see his bride forthe first time.
What a spectacular cake.
With just moments to go and khurram ready and waiting at the pulpit, Sana walked down the aisle flanked by her father and brother. She was radiant. Khurram’s smile was wide as Sana’s father handed his daughter over.
The civil ceremony and the poetry of the event was emotional, beautiful and I truly felt
Margam Country Park was just beautiful and was just spectacular. An elegant building with huge large windows where the light spilled through gorgeous venue. It was certainly a fitting event space for a bride who looked the epitome of a Maharani.
